Our Affectionately Shy Cat

Sometimes when you are busy at the computer Morn will sit by your feet and meow at you. Sometimes he doesn’t even meow, he just watches you intently. Obviously he wants to cuddle, but if you back up and pat your lap, he gets this excited look on his face but doesn’t jump up. (Sometimes he does.) But if you pick him up and give him some love he’ll settle right down on your lap while you work (or play). He’s just shy.

 

Morn’s been very helpful while I process wedding photos. He tells me important stuff like if the contrast is too high.

Atlas is doing better but still isn’t well, and after a second visit to the vet yesterday he’s on more medication and doing another five days in quarantine. It’s been a little hard on everyone, Atlas the most, and Morn and Pumpkin get frustrated when we don’t let them play under the door- but it’s the final stretch.
