The Little Lins

Lately I’ve had the joy of photographing a lot of kids, which has been a pretty magical experience. I mean, how often do I get to run around a playground, jump on trampolines, and blow bubbles while in the middle of a shoot? (Ok, I photograph some pretty creative clients, and we do crazy stuff all the time, but you know what I mean.) Kids can be a little nervous at first, but once we make a game out of taking pictures it’s a wild adventure.

Yan and her husband Ken invited us over to photograph their newborn (and third) daughter, Claire. Afterward they invited us to stay for a BBQ- (Ken grills some crazy delicious mushrooms, man, I’m not kidding.) and I took the opportunity to sneak in a few photographs of their other two daughters while we played in the back yard. (Maple kicked my butt in hide-and-seek.)
